Patent Attorney Jeffrey J. Maday started Maday Patent Law, to deliver high-value Intellectual Property services for each of his clients. Through his firm, Mr. Maday has prosecuted patents in some technical fields, including Radiation Detection Technology, Mechanical Devices, Microprocessor Chip Construction, Consumer Electronics Devices, and Chemical Processes. He also assists his clients with trademark and copyright prosecution, and related matters.
Mr. Maday received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Akron, Akron, OH, After completing his undergraduate degree, he gained more than 10 years of hands-on experience as a process engineer, primarily in the Oil and Gas Industry. Mr. Maday has worked for several major oil refining companies, both directly and in a consulting role. He received his J.D. from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. He aspired to a career in Patent Law largely due to an interest in cutting-edge technology and innovation. IP was his focus in law school, where he served as President of the Tulane Intellectual Property Society and wrote for the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Today, Mr. Maday continues to leverage his engineering background to support the technical nature of his patent law business.
Mr. Maday holds a bar admission in Virginia and is also admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. He is on the board of directors of the American Society of Inventors and The Nikola Tesla Inventors Club – organizations through which he organizes and hosts conferences to educate inventors and budding entrepreneurs. He is a member of the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association.
